Presses, gantries and robots — built to run for decades.

Foundry Machine Works engineers hydraulic press lines, five-face gantry centers and robotic welding cells for manufacturers on five continents — with the tooling, retrofits and spare parts to keep them earning.

Machine program

Six series. One control philosophy.

Every series shares the same PLC platform, hydraulic blocks and spare-parts catalog — so a mixed line is one phone call, not five.

Series FMW-P

Hydraulic press lines

Four-column and H-frame presses for deep drawing, blanking and coining — delivered as single machines or synchronized tandem lines.

110–1,600 T

Cycle 6–14 s

Lead 120 days

Series FMW-B

CNC press brakes

Servo-electric and hybrid brakes with 8-axis back gauges, crowning tables and first-article tooling included in every delivery.

63–400 T

3.2–6.0 m bed

±0.15 mm

Series FMW-G

Gantry machining centers

Five-face machining for machine frames, mold bases and wind-power hubs — thermal compensation and laser calibration standard.

X-travel 4–12 m

±0.01 mm

32 t table load

Series FMW-R

Robotic welding cells

Six-axis cells with seam tracking, two-station positioners and fume extraction — fenced, light-curtained and CE-documented.

2.8 m reach

±0.05 mm repeat

MOQ 1 cell

Series FMW-L

Heavy CNC lathes

Flat-bed and vertical lathes for shafts, rings and flanges — hardened box ways, 12-station turrets and live C-axis tooling.

Swing 660–2,500 mm

12-station turret

C-axis standard

Series FMW-A

Line automation

Industries served

Where our iron earns its keep

Automotive stamping

Tandem lines and transfer presses for body panels, brackets and EV battery trays — 240+ press lines fielded.

Construction & agri equipment

Gantry-machined booms, counterweights and axle housings for excavator and tractor OEMs across three continents.

Rail, marine & energy

Wind-tower flanges, bogie frames and hull sections machined and welded to class-society documentation.

Job shops & fabricators

Press brakes and lathes sized for contract work — one machine, standard tooling, financed lead times.

Automation & retrofit

Old iron. New nervous system.

A press frame outlives its controls three times over. Our retrofit crews rebuild hydraulics, wire modern safety and hand back a machine that cycles faster than the day it shipped — at a third of replacement cost.

  • Servo pumps and drives — energy draw down 40%
  • PLC and HMI migration with source code handed over
  • Light curtains, interlocks and full CE safety package
  • Quick-die-change tables and robotic tending cells

How we work

From RFQ to running line

01

RFQ & feasibility

Send drawings or part samples. We confirm tonnage, bed size and takt time within 48 hours.

02

Proposal & contract

Fixed quotation with layout drawing, delivery plan and payment terms — T/T or L/C at sight.

03

Build & machining

Frames stress-relieved and machined in-house on 12 m gantries, with QC gates at every subassembly.

04

FAT & shipping

Witness the run-off in person or by video, then we crate to ISPM-15 and ship FOB or CIF worldwide.

05

Commission & train

Our engineers level, wire and hand over on your floor — then train your operators and maintenance crew.

SGS FAT witnessed

Every machine ships with its FAT report, CE technical file, hydraulic diagrams and a spare-parts manifest — in English, on paper and USB.

Operator reports

Read the hour meters, not the brochure

“The 800-tonne line has logged 22,000 hours at 99.2 percent availability. When a valve block failed in year four, the replacement landed in three days — with the fitter a day behind it.”

Marek Ostrowski — Plant Director, Vistula Metalforming, Poland

“FMW retrofitted our 1998 press with servo drives and a new safety package. Cycle time dropped 18 percent, energy use fell by a third, and the CE audit passed first time.”

Rachel Donnelly — VP Manufacturing, Cascadia Trailer Group, USA

Service & spare parts

A machine is a promise. We keep it.

48-hour parts dispatch

Wear parts for every series shipped since 1998 stay on the shelf — dispatched from Ningbo or the Rotterdam depot within 48 hours of your order.

Field commissioning

Our engineers level, align and run off your machine on site — 40+ countries visited last year, operator training included in every contract.

Remote diagnostics

Every control cabinet ships with a secure VPN module. Our support desk reads drive data and fault logs before you finish the phone call.

Request for quotation

Drawings, tonnage, takt time — whatever you have. An engineer replies with a layout, a specification and a fixed quotation.
